Scott and I rode down after work on Friday to check out Motoblot. It was great to see so many bikes and talk to so many people who share the enthusiasm for riding. Got to see a lot of old friends too which is always fantastic! The ride down was miserable – bumper to bumber in 90* heat!!! Scott and I both agreed we would take the 30* days over the 90* ones!! But we made it, had fun, and on the way home got to open it up a bit and have some fun. 🙂

My car needs a name! I don’t mean just a cutesy name that only I use – I mean a name like a warship or a galactic destroyer has!! Since you all are some of the most creative people I know, let me know your suggestions – can’t make any promises but if you come up with the name I use you will be forever immortalized on my social media pages 🙂
Right now I am leaning towards “Skynet” although, “Fluffy Marshmallow” got a few votes as well…

Lee spotted this on the drive home, so we stopped in to take a look. 🙂

Turned in the Audi today for lease end. I will miss that car – it was absolutely fantastic. I have never enjoyed a car as much as I did the Audi. I’ve had other luxury cars but none that were as fun to drive or got as many compliments. It may look understated but there was a lot of power – smooth power – in that car. You know they don’t just throw the 4-rings on anything…
But its time to turn a new page! There are a lot of other cars in the world and exciting advancements coming out ever day. I love cars and can’t wait to see what the next adventure brings. I am sure I will get another Audi in the future, but I don’t know if I will love it as much as this one!

Labor Day weekend we had the opportunity to attend Supercar Saturday in Boilingbrook, IL. Its similar to those cruise nights where everyone parks their classic cars but instead of 1970 Mustangs you see 2011 Ferraris! Although the event is geared toward exotics (and they get the premium parking), it is open to everyone who loves cars so you also get to see GT-Rs, Raptors, Minis, and Cameros. It happens the first saturday during the summer months so if you’re looking for something to do, I highly suggest you check this out!
